Friday Faves: 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels

When I work out I like it to be intense and awesome which I why I tend to go to the gym for motivation. But there are days when that is not possible whether I am short on time, have sick kids or just don’t feel like leaving. Enter 30 Day Shred. I can still get a great workout which tones my body and raises my pulse. You will need hand weights (5-10 lbs depending on your level) and a mat if you are working on a hard surface. The DVD offers three 20-minute workouts from levels 1-3. Each 20 minute workout includes segments of strength, cardio and abs. If I am short on time I will pick one 20-minute workout (either level 2 or 3) and feel satisfied that I squeezed something pretty decent in that day. If I have more time I will do levels 2 and 3 combined for a pretty awesome workout. I highly recommend having this video in your arsenal. And it is less than $10 on Amazon. Can’t beat it!
